Yes. We offer downloadable audio, e-books and music thru a co-operative wide subscription to Overdrive Download Destination.
Yes and no. This service is offered to library cardholder residents of the following communities:
Allen Park, Auburn Hills, Belleville, Berkley, Brighton, Chelsea, Commerce Township, Dexter, Ferndale, Hartland, Highland Township, Huntington Woods, Independence Township,
Livonia, Manchester, Milford, Northfield Township, Northville,
Novi, Oak Park, Oxford, Redford, Saline, Springfield Township,
Taylor, Trenton, Walled Lake, Waterford, White Lake, Wixom, and Ypsilanti.
The contract card you can get as a person who attends college or works in Livonia, or the Michicard sticker you get from your home library does not grant you access to the downloadable books service. You must pay taxes in one of the particpating communities in order to use this service.
No. Titles cannot be renewed, but you can check them out again if no one is on the hold list.
1. Log on to your Amazon.com account.
2. Click on "manage my kindle".
3. Go to "your kindle library"
4. Click on the "actions" tab of the item you wish to return. "Return this book" will be one of the choices listed.
5. You may delete the item from both your kindle library and from your kindle device.
1. In Adobe Digital Editions, click the icon at the top left that looks like three books standing on a shelf.
2. Click on the book you want to return.
3. You will see an arrow at the top left corner of the book.
4. Click the arrow and choose "return borrowed item"
5. Next, to remove it from your Nook, plug your Nook into your computer
6. In Adobe Digital Editions, click on "my nook". Repeat steps 2-4 above.
