    Children’s storytime and music programs are open to all children. All children younger than three years old must be accompanied by an adult (one child per adult), unless otherwise specified. Space is limited so register early!

    FALL SESSION I
    At Civic Center Library, registration begins Tuesday, September 8 at 9:00 am (734) 466-2493. At Noble Library, registration begins Wednesday, September 9 at 10:00 am (734) 421-4235. At Sandburg Library, registration begins Tuesday, September 8 at 12:00 pm (248) 893-4010. Register for storytimes in person or by phone.

    Sessions begin the week of September 14 and end the week of October 19.

    BABY STORYTIME*
    Ages 12 to 23 months with parent or loving caregiver
    Babies are invited to bring a loving caregiver along for songs, simple stories, and other activities that introduce our youngest patrons to the pleasures of the library. Registration required. Helpful Hints

    GENRECON 2015 FOR KIDS
    All ages welcome
    Saturday, September 19 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
    Join us in the atrium and solve the Crime Caper, visit with K-9 officer Kuno and his human partner Officer Kehoe, and get a crime fighting coloring book from the Livonia Police Department (Parents will receive identity kits for their kids). There will also be face painting, ice cream, and a ghostly craft! Parents, check out our GenreCon Facebook page to find out more, and to learn about all of the programs YOU can attend.

    MAKE YOUR OWN BALLOON ANIMALS*
    Ages 7 to 12
    Saturday, September 26 from 1:30 to 2:30 pm
    Learn to make several types of animals or create your own in various colors, shapes and sizes to take home. Balloons and instructional handouts will be provided. Register in person or by phone at (743) 466-2493, beginning Monday, September 14.
