MelCat servers are moving to a new home. While they are making the move, MelCat requesting will be suspended. No requests will be accepted November 18, 2015 to December 11, 2015. ALL MelCat requests MUST be placed by November 17th, 2015.

Book to Film Discussion cancelled November and December sticky icon

Starting November 17, 2015 - Ending December 20, 2015

Due to circumstances beyond our control, there will be no Book to Film Discussion group meetings on November 21 and December 19.

Michigan Activity Passes

Starting June 3, 2015 - Ending June 4, 2017

Library users with a valid library card from one of Michigan’s nearly 400 public libraries can print a pass, either from home or at the library, to one of the nearly 60 participating institutions at the Michigan Activity Pass website. Some cultural partners offer complimentary or reduced price admission; others, discounts in their gift shop or other exclusive offers for MAP pass holders only. Each Michigan Activity Pass expires within one week from the date it is printed.
Each library will have five passes for each of the participating organizations available.

History Lives at the Library

Starting August 10, 2015 - Ending May 31, 2016

History Lives at the Library is proud to announce this season's lineup. This collection of speakers and topics will assuredly entertain and educate audiences of all ages. The programs will take place in the Civic Center Library Auditorium, begin at 7:00pm, and as always free to attend. details

Film Movement Series

Starting August 24, 2015 - Ending August 30, 2016

Join us for a newly released award-winning independent film every month. These documentaries, features and foreign films are shown simultaneously with their theater run. details

Noontime Concert Series

Starting August 26, 2015 - Ending May 20, 2016

Mark your calendars, the Noontime concert series is coming back September 17th. This group of performers will entertain audiences of all ages. The programs will take place in the Civic Center Library Atrium, begin at 12:15pm, and as always are free to attend. Bring your brown bag lunch with you and enjoy the show. details

Special Thanksgiving Hours

Starting November 17, 2015 - Ending December 30, 2015

Civic Center Library will be open 9-5 and Noble Library will be open 10-5 on Wednesday, November 25th. NOTE: They will both close at 5:00.
All Libraries will be closed Thursday and Friday Nov. 26th and 27th.
Civic Center will reopen on Saturday, November 28th.
