Beginning the week of February 15th, Sandburg Library (On 7 Mile Road) will be Open on Thursdays 10am-6pm. They will be closed Saturdays. The change in hours enables the library to add more weekday programming and gives staff more time for book processing and other important duties. The new hours will also relieve the constant problem of being understaffed on the weekend. We still hope to add additional days/hours to the branches sometime in the future, unfortunately, our current budget does not allow us to do so.

The IRS budget was severely cut this year. As a result, we will be receiving MUCH fewer tax forms than we have in previous years. The ONLY forms we will be receiving this year are 1040, 1040A and 1040EZ. There will be no instruction books for any of these forms. We will also receive a copy of the reproducible book from which you will be able to make photocopies of needed forms. As always, Reference Librarians will be happy to assist you in printing out any additional forms you need from the IRS and State of Michigan web sites.
